Sailortown

On the 19th-20th​ of May 2012, Stories of the City: Sailortown was exhibited as an installation at The MAC in Belfast. The exhibition was open to members of the public with pre-booked live performances of the songs throughout both days. Artists Fionuala Fagan and Isobel Anderson spent two weeks in the artist's residency studio developing the work which, like the songs written throughout the project, drew from the sounds, sites and narratives described in interviews collected with The Sailortown Regeneration Group. The installation combined soundscapes, photographs, objects, images and listening stations.
